What is Go Book Bound?

Do you ever read a book and want to visit the same places as your favorite characters? Or, maybe you are planning a trip and want to immerse yourself in the area before you arrive?

Go Book Bound was created for those instances. Bringing books to life through a digital platform, Go Book Bound is the ultimate travel companion for book lovers and tourists alike.

Go Local!

Go Book Bound loves supporting local bookstores almost as much as we love helping you bound! Each purchase made through our Bookshop.org affiliate buttons helps support an independent book store of your choice. Choose to buy local and help us support readers and travelers throughout the world.

Ready to start your bound?

Simply choose your bound by selecting a location. Bounds provide an overview of the book, author insights, Google Map of key locations and a reminder of how each is connected to the book.

Want to eat in the same cozy diner as your favorite literary character? Let our map take you there. Looking for a beach off the beaten path? Your book can show you the way. The pages and places are endless and so are your opportunities to Bound.

 About the Bounders

Go Book Bound Ashley

Ashley

When I was younger, my mother would always ask me to play outside. Instead, I would bring a stack of books the size of myself to read to my dog out on the front lawn. Since graduating college in 2016, I have worked in the digital marketing field as a social media professional for Sony and New York University, yet continually tried to do something with books. When my Masters in Media Management Capstone project allowed me to create a business, I jumped at the opportunity to brainstorm with my Aunt (Linda). After talking about my love of literature, travel and the online book community the idea of Go Book Bound was formed and I haven’t looked back since.

As a teacher for over twenty years, I have been passionate about my students developing a lifelong love for learning, to grasp the importance that knowledge is not a destination but a journey to take you many, many places.  From the first day I walked into a classroom, I found ways to break down classroom walls to have students develop their understanding through people in the community, places they have never been and experiences to apply what they learn. I couldn't be more excited for the launch of Go Book Bound, making every reader and traveler a student and guiding them to explore the world.
